Art lessons in The ArtRoom help children build cognitive skills including concept development, problem solving, language, history, measurement, critical thinking, fine development and many other skills that can contribute to success in school. Kids will tap into their imagination to express their own ideas as they experiment and create unique works of art. They will develop confidence as their creativity soars!

The ArtRoom offers a variety of lessons, from creating art in watercolor, acrylics, drawing, mixed media and sculpture, to recycled art and other exciting creative projects.

Students begin by assembling a portfolio to keep artwork in. All of the supplies needed to create an original masterpiece, or an interpretation of a classic will be available to students! 


During each session, students will be introduced to new artists and old masters,

design styles, and techniques. The sessions are designed to inspire young artists,

and our projects will incorporate different media and materials to encourage

expression of ideas through your child’s original works.

Class tuition includes materials,supplies, smock, sketch pad and interactive student notebook (for homeschoolers enrolled in semester classes), and portfolio.

Art Club will have content and class projects varied for age-appropriateness. Planned media and projects are subject to change based on instructor preference and supply availability. Every student registered for Art Club in the Spring semester will get a portfolio that they can keep. Maximum class size is six per class. Club is for kids in grades K-8.

Registration and General Information

  • Submit registration form and payment to officially enroll your child(ren) and ensure a place in the class.

  • Payment may be made by mailing check or via Venmo.

  • Please note that the mailing address is different from the studio location. You will be emailed class confirmation and studio location once we receive your registration (studio is located near Cullen/Hughes Ranch Road).

  • Tuition includes all materials and supplies, a portfolio, and sketchbook/interactive student notebook, smock, and one snack (pre-packaged bag of goldfish or pretzels). Kids should bring a no-spill water bottle.

  • We do not provide before or after class child care.

  • Notification of withdrawl from a class must be made no less than seven (7) days prior to class start date. A $25 fee will be charged for all refunds. Refunds will be given up to seven (7) days prior to class start date. No refunds will be given thereafter.

There are no credits or refunds for missed classes, but we may be able to offer you a makeup class in another session, based on availability. Tuition cannot be transferred to another month if you miss a class. If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather, we will provide a makeup class. When minimum enrollment is not met, the paid and registered students will be notified prior to the beginning of the class and the fee will be refunded if placement in another session cannot be accommodated.

Students must be on time to class, as we will start promptly. Make sure your little artist has eaten and used the restroom prior to drop-off to keep interruptions to a minimum.

  • PreKindergarten students MUST be completely toilet trained upon enrolling.


  • Due to COVID we have cut class numbers to half and can only accept four students per session.

  • All supplies, surfaces, and touchpoints will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer will be readily available.

  • Class size is minimized that each student can now work with more table space. Students will be  in charge of their own set of supplies for the session and will be assigned a cubby to store their items.

  • Each student will have their temperature taken before entering the studio. Please do not send your child if they have a high fever, cough, excessive sneezing, cold sweats, vomiting, nausea, etc.

  • The ArtRoom will provide an art smock, to be used by one child for the week. Parents may choose to provide their own.

  • Everyone over the age of three is required to wear a mask or other appropriate face covering. Masks are not to be removed indoors unless eating or drinking.

  • To minimize foot traffic in the studio, only students are allowed inside the studio. Please drop off and pick up outside the studio.
