Homeschool Art

Designed for homeschool students ages 5-14, these classes allow students to explore the expressive and technical aspects of art.  While utilizing hands-on art making, students will develop critical thinking strategies, engage in their creativity, and build their social skills.  Students will also learn from current and historical artworks while learning about the elements and principles of art. Central to this class is a focus on a choice-based studio approach which allows students to have a more active engagement with their selection of materials and processes.

  • All supplies, surfaces, and touchpoints will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer will be readily available.

  • Each student may have their temperature taken before entering the studio. Please do not send your child if they have a high fever, cough, excessive sneezing, cold sweats, vomiting, nausea, etc.

  • The ArtRoom will provide an art smock, to be used by one child for the week. Parents may choose to provide their own.
